This proposal introduces a more practical, digital approach to implementing energy labelling requirements, making it easier for consumers to access clear product information. These measures show that simplification and transparency for consumers can go hand in hand.
Reducing unnecessary administrative burdens supports manufacturers and helps strengthen Europe’s heat pump sector without compromising the information available to consumers. The proposal will now be considered by the European Parliament and the Council. EHPA will continue to work with the co-legislators as the legislative process progresses.
