It will support REHVA member associations in their national training, qualification and accreditation activities. Several courses related to EPBD IV (Directive (EU) 2024/1275) are under development. Two courses on smart building provisions are already available: upskilling is becoming a competitive advantage in building services, particularly in smart buildings.
Under EPBD IV, the European Commission must adopt a delegated act by 30 June 2027 requiring the application of the SRI to non-residential buildings with an effective rated HVAC output above 290 kW. Both courses were developed with the European context in mind and are currently available in English. National versions may be available through the REHVA member association network.
